Free/Libre/Open (FLO) creative works are licensed to give everyone the freedom/liberty to use, adapt, and share them freely. They are typically made available on the Internet at zero cost, without ads, since anyone is free to offer them that way. How I If We works:

1. A goalpage proposes a way people can make a difference together.
2. The page enables you and others to pledge that "I will [take a specified action] if together, we can achieve the goal."
3. Until Goal 1 is reached, you donate only a token amount ($1/year).
4. After Goal 1 is reached, you donate what you pledged (monthly or yearly).
5. The project may next set a higher Goal 2 (which does not affect Goal 1 patrons).
6. This process repeats until the project is inspiring a coordinated crowd to provide the ongoing funding they need to thrive.

How I if We Vote works:

1. A community organization that wants to increase voter turnout sets an ambitious but achievable voter turnout goal for a specific election.
2. Its leaders reach out to the community and ask them to go to the organization's I if We page and pledge that "I will" vote "if" enough others also pledge that together "We can" reach the goal.
3. I if We shows the number of pledges, along with a list of who has pledged.
4. The organization reminds people to vote and to report on I if We that they've voted.
5. I if We shows the number of confirmed votes, along with a list of who voted.
